Having fun AoE’ing the Malicious Cadevils near 1K Streams, other than that, most mobs in (my level) instances are too hard. I need to upgrade my equipment, takes time and money tho. Meantime, I’m levelling my other char (Psychic) who’s now 75, woot woot!
It’s the second week without maintenance, I really wonder if they have something big coming soon and what.
Other than that, well, is it just me or has PWI got really boring?
I’ve been dc’ing at least twice a night lately, from the game, something which never happened to me before. And now, just a few minutes ago, I dc’ed for the second time and I guess everyone else did ‘cause even the forum servers are down.
What’s going on?
Oh, and btw, I turned 89, did my demon quest and can’t wait to get my TT90 gear and weapon.

P.s.: Hope things go back to normal soon although I don’t think it ever will what with all the oracle babiesi and now the hex stones, stackable with eso’s… a whole new generation of utter noobs reaching lev 90 without ever knowing how they got there. Oh dear…
EatWithSpoons (Spoons for short) is one of our favorite GMs in Perfect World and many of us have grown fond of him but, without a word of warning, not even a goodbye or farewell, Spoons vanished. Some new ex-GM has started a presentation thread in the forums, so this is how everyone has concluded that he is replacing Spoons.
I’m sure the new GM is very competent but that is not the issue now. The issue is that many of us feel like abandoned orphans on PWI’s front porch. Or something. Spoons was very engaging and patient with most of us and his sense of humour overcame many situations, he was generous and creative with his time and efforts towards the community and that is how he gained our sympathy and affection. Spoons, you will be missed.
I wish you the best wherever you go and should you return to us, we will be very happy. In the meantime, good luck and be happy every minute of every day.
I’ve been playing Perfect World for nearly 15 months now, have spent tons of hours, efforts, coins (real and ingame) so far and am still totally taken by the game.
My main character is this one, a (now) level 88 cleric, nearing my sage/demon quests (I have chosen demon). The minute I started to play, I knew exactly what kind of cleric I wanted to build: a damage dealing cleric (or Full Attack Cleric, FAC for short), NOT a full support one. Needless to say I never was popular for refusing to level my rez and group skills and found it hard to complete boss quests. But now things are improving, as I have maxed all the necessary skills to make myself useful in squads.
What I like most about being a powerful cleric is the AoE grinding sessions, where I can gather a lot of mobs and deal as much damage as possible to the group instead of fighting them one by one. I have seen some really spectacular videos of clerics AoE grinding and they are just awesome. I hope I’ll be able to share them with you soon.
I has taken me quite a while to learn everything about this game like, for instance, when I started to play, there was no such thing as “auto-path” and everything had to be done manually… so many things to discover and to remember and yet, I still forget most of the locations and quests of lower levels.
As for affiliation with factions, I’ve been mostly guild-hopping… in and out of so many, it’s not even funny. I’ve even created my own guild for FACs only, but I found not every cleric wants to become a damage dealer… well to each their own I guess :)
At the moment, I’ve joined The Edge, an interesting faction which, hopefully I’ll be able to make friends, help and in return get the help I need.
